Abstract

The Arabic language has played an important role among communities. Arabic has also garnered attention from the majority of Islamic educational institutions. This interest is not only prevalent among institutions catering to adult students but also found in early childhood education institutions such as Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Some of them have incorporated Arabic language into the curriculum, either as one of the subjects taught in the classroom or as extracurricular material. With the emergence of digital technology, educators can be assisted in preparing Arabic language teaching materials, methods, and strategies. Many conveniences offered by technological advancements contribute to fostering enjoyable learning innovations for young children. Early childhood is a time when students engage more in play than serious study. Therefore, educators need to make adjustments in their approach to presenting learning materials, one of which is through the method of "learning through play". This research is a literature review conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources used include relevant books, journals, articles, and papers. Data collection is done through documentation techniques and analyzed using content analysis methods. The results of the research indicate that the "learning through play" method for young children is quite effective when applied as a form of integrating learning and play activities to create enjoyable and effective experiences. This method can be implemented by offering various educational Arabic language games accessible through technology.
