Abstract

Learning Arabic in the era of technology faces many challenges in presenting innovative teaching strategies and media. The success of learning can be achieved if the media used are suitable for the needs and conditions of the students. The use of technology in Arabic language learning has become a major focus in efforts to enhance learning effectiveness. One interesting innovation is the use of YouTube as a tool for learning Arabic. This innovation in Arabic language learning using YouTube has become one of the attractive choices for Arabic language learning media, although it still presents its own challenges for educators. This research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of using YouTube as a media for Arabic language learning. This research is a literature review conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources used include relevant books, journals, articles, and papers. Data collection is done through documentation techniques and analyzed using content analysis methods. The results of this research indicate that the use of YouTube media can enhance the effectiveness of Arabic language learning outcomes. YouTube offers wide accessibility, engaging multimedia content, and interactivity that can increase student engagement. The research also shows that the use of videos on YouTube in learning can enhance understanding and deep retention of grammar and vocabulary.
