Abstract

The use of information and communication technology in education is an inevitable approach. The current digital transformation makes the development of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) increasingly a concern in the field of education. This research aims to examine the important role of Generative AI in Arabic language learning in the era of Society 5.0. As well as the prospects for its use in Arabic language learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of literature study and istiqro'i analysis methodology from various literature sources such as journal articles, books and so on. The results of this study indicate that the integration of Generative AI has great potential in improving the quality of Arabic language learning. Generative AI can accelerate understanding, improve information retention, and personalise the learning experience. The conclusion of this study is that the integration of Generative AI in Arabic language learning in the era of Society 5.0 can enrich the learning process, answering the demands of an increasingly advanced society and increasingly sophisticated technology.
